Kasese Division
Between 1990 and 1992 it had been realized that St. John Ambulance was not popular like other voluntary organizations in the region but only heard of or confined to Kilembe copper mines limited - safety department.
Collaboration efforts to reach the then lay leader, Muhangazima Sammy who was in safety office Kilembe mines Ltd started to find ways how the organization would be efficiently and effectively established to bring service delivery through active participation of more people (volunteers) in the larger area. The division was eventually established in Kasese in 1995 with Baluku John as its division Superintendant. Apparently, Kasese division is a member of Kasese District Development Network (KADDNET), district disaster management committee and district health management team in Kasese district.
