First Aid Level II & III (Standard Level)
On successful completion of First Aid level 1, learners are legible to complete first aid level 2 and 3 (combined). It involves revision of information learnt in first aid level 1 and rummages further into the provision of emergency care and emergency childbirth. Water - related emergencies form part of this course.

Eligibility:
Suitable for people aged 18 years and above and is ideal for anyone wanting to become an accredited first aider or a person nominated as a First Aid responder at the work place. The course is particularly appropriate to employees of companies since the Occupational Safety and Health Act 2006 of Uganda recommends a trained first aider qualified in first aid at work to manage a first aid box. The appointed First aider takes charge of all first-aid arrangements including calling for emergency services if necessary.
Assessment and Certification:
On successful completion of the Course, the trainees go through a final assessment and all competent candidates receive an internationally recognised certificate valid for two years after which a re-qualification course becomes necessary. It is strongly recommended that learners update their skills by taking an annual refresher course.
